Planning covenants in advance could always go astray – like every WoW planning always does – and yet it’s fun to prepare for the future expansion :)
For starters, I’ve put down armor types and Covenants, then put all my toons according to their character personality attunement:
Oluu the Lightforged was pretty suprised to find herself with Night Fae, because she always thought she’ll be in Bastion. Still, everyone else called dibs, and she has to dwell there. Other toons feel just fine :)
The next step was cutting extras, because we need to focus on 16 toons to cover all armor types:
And so we got the essential list, which covers all classes, all armor types and all Covenants to start with. “Extras” will step in during lulls – or simply when I miss them. But October 27 will see me entering with the Major 16, starting with Micromantica.
The dream team is as follows:
BASTION
Bastion Cloth: Jellica the Priest
Bastion Leather: Paitsu the Monk
Bastion Mail: Jagda the Shaman
Bastion Plate: Anibell the Paladin
MALDRAXXUS
Maldraxxus Cloth: Myrki the Warlock
Maldraxxus Leather: Melaris the Demon Hunter
Maldraxxus Mail: Schlitzchen the Shaman
Maldraxxus Plate: Mindebad the Death Knight
NIGHT FAE/ARDENWEALD
Night Fae Cloth: Micromantica the Mage
Night Fae Leather: Maylune the Druid
Night Fae Mail: Myde the Hunter
Night Fae Plate: Oluu the Paladin
REVENDRETH
Revendreth Cloth: Jakatti the Mage
Revendreth Leather: Pins the Rogue
Revendreth Mail: Lizgun the Hunter
Revendreth Plate: Rikkit the Warrior
10 out of 16 are the small folk, so I guess I did everything right :)
I agree — part of the fun of a new expansion is the advance planning, whether or not you actually stick to your plan!
“Simply when I miss them” is always a good time to revisit an alt who has been idling. I’m sure I’ll be doing some of that, too.
I look forward to reading about your Dream Team’s activities!

Also Ion promised us class appearance sets in raids later into the expansion, so double classes will be handy :) For example, some stubborn dagger or a chestplate would call for another rogue trying, and I could bring her in by the next reset.

I simply love how you’ve got everything planned out and ready to go. I’m still running around with my hair on fire.
